Calendar: Quarter 2
During our first trimester, students will learn how geography affects life in Utah, and how geology shaped and is shaping our state. Students will analyze ancient Native American Indian cultures and the lifestyles of Utah's historic tribes before contact with Europeans. They will also examine why Spanish explorers, mountain men, and early pioneers traveled through Utah and the impact their arrival had on native cultures.
